Gestalt coaching.

what’s here right now?

Let’s get into it!

Gestalt coaching is a collaborative, whole-person approach that uses active listening + generative communicating to bring the client’s thought & physical processes into the present moment. Curiosity is the heart, as we take a deep exploration into the body and investigate through feeling and sensation rather than intellectual analysis. Together we find new possibilities and broadened perspectives on topics or issues that may have felt stuck or stagnant in the past. Experiments are used as a way to allow clients to go deeper into themselves and try on new ways of being. Play, mindfulness practices, body movements, visualization, creative exploration through art, performance, and role play are all tools we may use. I use models and exercises that help clients see aspects of themselves that were otherwise inaccessible, while encouraging them to be active participants in our work together. I offer a deeply supportive space that encourages clients to be more of themselves rather than less, honoring the client’s way of being and doing, individuality, and uniqueness.

support coaching.

let’s organize and look.

Here I support the client by integrating Gestalt into a motivating life coach approach. While I stay neutral and non-directive, I act as more of a driving support that guides clients towards accomplishing specific goals, needs, and wants. Through trial and error and honoring the client’s ways of being and doing, we find the best avenues for getting over the humps and barriers that hold us back. In addition to Gestalt models, I offer other exercises, reflections, and models that help the client organize and stay on track. There’s no authority on my end, clients have personal agency to meet themselves where they’re at and make decisions confidently.
